Database Translation Software

Mind's Eye Graphics has developed a line of translation software to allow a wide variety of application software packages to exchange polygonal and image databases. Typically, this translation software has been used for importing data into high-end animation software such as Wavefront(TM) or Alias. The translators are available as standalone compiled products or as source code toolkits for use by other Silicon Graphics® developers. Currently supported formats include Wavefront, AutoCAD® DXF, Cubicomp, Intelligent Light, Alias, ARRIS(TM), Velocity, Vertigo(TM), McDonnel Douglas GDS, Prisms, and Pixar Renderman(TM).
